Default My fire belly toad set up

This is my fire belly toad setup. Super simple, easy and cheap.

For 2 frogs. Some say three is OK, but I'd rather only do 2 in a 10 gallon.

    1 10 gallon tank.
    1 Medium Log
    1 Small Log
1 Rock like platform (for got what they called it
1 Plant (in my case plastic)
    1 Water fall filter
    Some pound rocks
    1 Background

I think that's everything. The medium and small logs I used to cover the filter. It proves a nice trickle effect on the log that makes it glisten. The frogs can (and actually are) hiding under the rock like platform. And sometime behind or on the sides of it. Should I add more water? Maybe 1/2 to an inch more?

I also sanded down the edges of the small log to sit on the medium one.Name: IMG_20141218_160844146.jpg

Only issue in there is the gaps in between large pebbles will let food and debris fall in and become hard to get at during water changes .
Remember to take care of the enclosure and it will take care of your frog !

Yeah! I found that out! Haha I am going to get what I can during water changes ( I use a baster) and I'll see how it looks in a couple of weeks. I have no problem cleaning the whole tank as often as I need too. Although I'd really rather only have to do it every 2 to 3 months cause I hate disturbing the little guys. But I'll see and make adjustments accordingly.

Do you have an alternative solution that's easier during water changes?

Hmm maybe use an undergravel filter so you can do the general cleaning to your desired routine and make sure to feed what your frog can consume so that uneaten food can be avoided from sinking between the gaps
