Smile Real Leaves As A Cover.

Has any one used any type of real leaves as a cover for horned frogs. It would be over the eco-earth or soil if you use soil. If you have what kind did you use. Also where did you get it. Cheers.

More trouble than it's worth. You'd have to either freeze or bake the leaves beforehand to get rid of potential bugs, and the frog will just end up crushing them up.

Also, I'd worry about tannins leaking out in a small wet container with little/no drainage. I know the leaves wouldn't hurt frogs in the wild, but being caught in a box with everything that leaches out of the leaves might not be good for them.

You mean leaves as in those dry ones used in dart vivariums? If so; they won't hurt the frog. Get big strong magnolia leaves from one of forum sellers (Josh Frogs or NeHerp for example).
Remember to take care of the enclosure and it will take care of your frog !
