I timed how quickly and proficiently these 5 fruit flies cleaned the supplements off their bodies; it was less then two minutes! Goes to show how important it is to have a regular supplementation scheduled each day.

Wow! I never would have guessed how quickly. Crickets clean themselves pretty efficiently too. We definitely need to follow our schedules.
Great photo, also!

Great picture!! I do not feed FF, but I know the crickets are pretty good at getting themselves clean also! I use some kind of supplement every day because of it. The greys aren't so bad because they wake up to eat immediately...but the red eyes take a bit more time.

Since we're on the topic of supplements, which are your favorite?
I use Repashy calcium plus once a week for my Ceratophrys and tree frog species, twice a week for dart frogs, and Repcal calcium with vitamin D3 every other feeding for all species.
I also buy new supplements every 3 months to keep them fresh.
Some people also refrigerate their supplements. I keep them at room temp.

So very important to dust with supplements at every feeding. I use the following schedule with all my frogs.
Monday - Calcium w/D3 (Repcal)
Tuesday - Supervite (Repashy)
Wednesday - Calcium w/D3 (Repcal)
Thursday - Supervite (Repashy)
Friday - Calcium w/D3 (Repcal)
Saturday - Calcium Plus (Repashy) ((I use this one mainly for the color enhancers in it, but didn't want to waist a feeding on just a color enhancing supplement))
Sunday - Calcium w/D3 (Repcal)
I also dust with the Repashy Vitamin A Plus every 1st and 15th. I mix the Vit A will use the Vit a in place of the regularly scheduled supplement.
I also replace all my supplement every 5 months. I haven't read anything credible that would lead me to believe refrigerating supplements extends the life of them. I know Lynn reached out to both Repashy and Repcal to see f they could clarify, but I don't think she ever heard back from them. So I order the smallest bottles possible because no matter how much of the supplements I try to waste I always end up tossing 1/2 or 3/4 of the bottles at the end of the 5 months.

I actually have the same schedule as Paul, I copied it when I bought the red eyes from him to make the transition a little smoother and get them eating more quickly. Now I have just stuck with it because it is easy that way!
EDIT - That schedule is for the red eyes only. The greys only get fed 3 times a week so they have a different schedule.

I don't know if this necessarily means you should feed every day... just that you should supplement every time you feed.
Many people overfeed their dendrobatids and a lot of the frogs in the hobby are in fact obese. A day or two off here and there is more like what they would experience in the wild and honestly would probably trigger a stronger feeding response when flies are added. This means the frog will probably eat more flies immediately when they have lots of supplements still present.
