I just swopped out me Pacman Frog Gem's substrate and well I let mom talk me into using zoo med's terrarium moss it's this mat of actual moss you put on top of the substrate. Right now I don't know what to think of it and I don't think Gem does either she's never had moss like that before. Gem is my first Pacman I did a lot of research but I thought I'd ask. Nothing beats experience after all!
No moss, they can take a mouthful and cause serious digestive issues. Always good to research![]()

Yeah, no moss at all, only exo earth or plantation soil. Moss is a very high impaction risk, we saw here not once a frog dying because of that. You don't want to risk it.
Save one animal and it doesn't change the world, but it surely changes the world for that one animal!
Agree with what everyone else is saying. Also pacs are burrowers, so they aren't going to like anything that forms a mat over good burrowing dirt. They're either going to avoid it or destroy it by trying to burrow under it.

Thanks guys.
I was leaning towards removing it anyway. It didn't seem right to me and Gem keeps glaring at me.
