Hello all
New to the forum, looking for help feeding our brand new addition (a juvenile chorus frog)
Currently she seems very stressed. I have a pretty extensive set up and keep a number of these little cuties to release every year. This year has been especially tough on them due to the drought in California where I caught her (my backyard) and where she will be released to again.
I have tried putting her in a separate container lined with damp paper towels and offering flightless fruit flies as well as mini meal worms... Even the tiniest crickets, in desperation.
She only seems interested in jumping around and seems very anxious so I covered her little holding tank to minimize stress. I'm just very concerned that perhaps she cannot eat what I'm offering her. Even the fruit flies don't seem to interest her.
Please advise.
Attached is a picture of an adult female Chorus Frog that I have, happy and healthy, so you can get an idea of what kind of frogs I'm talking about here.
