Default Swolen leg and brown spot - help?

Firstly, no vets in my area can treat frogs, unfortunately.. I am wondering if it is an infection of some kind due to the way she is holding her leg out when she sleeps. I am not sure if there is anything I can do for her or not? She is 4+ years old, she has had a good life, but even if this is going to be her end, I do not want her to suffer. I also have to be out of town for 4 days starting tomorrow morning, what crappy timing! Suggestions please?Name: orchid.jpg

Did she injure herself on something? I would start with neosporin (WITHOUT pain reliever) but she's probably going to need some antibiotics.

I am not sure if she injured herself? I read on another forum which someone had a similar situation, thought it could be infected from a cricket bite? There's no vet here I can take her to, not even remotely close to me. I do have some left over antibiotics that I had to give one of my cats recently, it is a white liquid.. I can look to see what the name of it is. Is there any chance I could give her a small amount of cat antibiotics? I was thinking of putting it directly into her water, but doesn't mean she will drink it. I am almost debating on switching her to a smaller tank and taking her with me while I am out of town. I didn't want to touch her or pick her up in case it just made her leg hurt more, so just leaving her be until I figure out what I should be doing about it. Thanks for all the help!

Ok, I have some liquid Metronidazole - 100mg/ml. Anyone know if I can give this to her? And if so, how much? My cat was getting 0.5 ml twice daily, so a very small amount.. she is much much smaller, obviously.

Metro is usually used as an anti-parasitic/anti-protozoal treatment. It's been said to be antibacterial too... but not sure it's going to help, especially if what you have is an oral suspension and not for external use (anyone?)

Hmmm ****. I could possibly ask my vet for whatever it is that I need, I am just not sure exactly what is wrong with her and what she needs for treatment. I have been lucky, in the 4/5 years of having her, she has been very healthy until now.
