Hello and welcome to FF! Bills builds are particularly awesome, along with Paul (Digitalpunk) and the other Paul (Vivariums in the mist). I just hope I can be as good as them someday

Water feature are very challenging to get right in a vivarium . Each one has it's own advantages/disadvantages. False bottoms have the advantage of being lighter while drainage layers host way more bio-bacteria and other microfauna on it's surface .
Remember to take care of the enclosure and it will take care of your frog !
Welcome to the forum . A nice false bottom is great for keeping your plants happy. Many of us also have our tanks drilled to a bottom side for easy access of excess water.
