Unhappy Sensitive Request Re: sHEila... Please.

I would appreciate it if someone who is experienced with having to put down a frog would PM me and instruct me on what to do IN CASE I have to I'm not doing very well right now, I need to keep it together, and don't want to have to go through any public discussion pertaining to my possible decision if I need to put my little guy down I'm already getting enough backlash at home....

Frogfeet, please be sensitive to her request right now. If you really need to know details, you can either read the paragraph in her signature, which explains it fairly well, or read through her other threads.

I edited this post due to one mod asking you to respect another members wishes and feelings. This is not the place to stir drama. If you feel the need for that, start another thread and I am sure members will explain how this is a totally different situation.

This will be the one and only warning I will give about such things.

Thanks guys. I don't know if it would help or not, but I would really like to talk to someone else who has experienced putting down a frog with the Orajel/Benzecaine method. I don't know if doing it this way caused him yet more pain (he did not just go "to sleep") but I had absolutely no choice (Sunday evening, vets closed). I wish I could have taken him to the vet to be put down, and if the need arises again in the future to put a frog out of it's misery I am going to try that first, if I possibly can... I can't endure the thought of having to use this method again, not knowing whether I caused more pain than he was actually in or not The description is not something I think anyone wants posted publicly here... horrible... horrible...
