So I fed my little friends crickets with calcium plus on them and Mr. Kermit ate too much I think. I put 6 in there and I think he ate them all....he is fat and not wanting to move today. When should I worry? Should he have pooped already? Totally new cage so makes me worried. Any ideas?
Well I just saw him eat a fly so he must be feeling ok.
Frogs have slow digestion. If he's only eaten today, he probably won't poop for a while. What kind of frog is Kermit? White's have a problem with obesity so I wouldn't absolutely stuff him, but if the feeders are the right size for the frog there shouldn't be much risk of impaction.
Mr. Kermit is a pcf if I remember correctly. I believe I actually helped identify himYour froggie probably won't eat for a few days
I wouldn't be worried

Good ...He just seems really slow right now so of course I am worried and yup he or she is pcf
After a big meal my little PCF friends went to what I called "Coma Corner" to sleep it offThey would usually poo a few days after they ate, averaged anywhere from 3 days to 5 days but at least once a week (fed every other day to every three days).
