Could it be a bacteria infection. If so, what do I use to treat it? Thanks!
Wow, turns out it's dead. The thing looked kind of sick when I got it 3 days a go. Kind of sick in the fact that it was just a little red and fat but it was very active. I fed it frozen blood worms and for the next couple of days he seemed inactive wouldn't eat. Next thing you know. Kerplunk. It's dead. I have kept my other African Dwarf frogs for 9 years now.
Very sorry your frog died ! Hard to tell what caused it's demise; but you might want to run some tests in the tanks water (pH, Ammonia, Nitrites, and Nitrates) to rule out any water problems. Was it alone or did you mix it with other frogs?
Remember to take care of the enclosure and it will take care of your frog !
