They don't emit any fumes, typically made from nonchemically things. Stuff made with essential oils is a GREAT (but spendy) way to go. Bon Ami is a wonderful stove top cleaner, it doesn't stink like comet does.
Love Bon Ami, have used it for years. Wouldn't use it on the floor though, but it's great for cleaning greasy grills and such.
