 Growth rate?
 Growth rate?
Just curious, what is the growth rate of WTF? At what age do they hit 3-4 inches? How fast do they grow normally?

 Re: Growth rate?
I think it varies a lot, since no one has been able to give me a straight answer. Temperature, food, and health are factors I guess. Generally they grow quickly until they hit 2'' and then it slows down. I've seen my 1'' frog grow very rapidly in just less than a month, now he's about 1.5.'' My 2 1/4'' on the other hand hasn't grown at all since I've had him (2 months).

They will grow fast the first year or so. They don't become sexually mature until between the second and third year. They normally hit full grown status at about 4 years.
As Elly stated, growth rate depends on environmental factors really.

 Re: Growth rate?
Bonk is your bigger guy, right? I'm finding the same thing with my froggles, 2 of them (Jelly Bean and Honey-Lime) doubled their weight in 1 month, Shirley and sHEila almost made that. However it doesn't seem like they're growing very fast at all... wondering if it's the cocci-- maybe they aren't absorbing nutrients as well as they should, of course the loose stool has something to do with that too
Mom to these fine frogs!
