I was looking into getting a thermostat to keep my temperatures in my tank from being too low or too high without having to keep adjusting it every day.
I was looking at the hygrotherm, but I am somewhat confused as to how it works. The description says it has an alarm that goes off when it reaches temperature threshold, but it doesn't actually turn off the heat? I am looking for something that will actually turn off the heat if it gets too hot because I can't always be here.
The other one I was looking at was the repti therm by zoo med, which I think actually does turn off the heat.
I wanted opinions from someone who uses thermostats in with their enclosures though before I go buying one, and maybe you can clear up any misconceptions I am getting from the reviews online.
