Hello, I recently got my new Lime Green Albino Pac man frog female, she's a baby but is growing rapidly.
Question: how often should I feed her and how much?(crickets)
Good day and welcome to frog forum. When i first got my girl i did the 15 minute rule. Which is offer your frog whatever she can consume in 15 minutes. Mine almost was always full before the 15 minute mark and she would eat roughly about ten crickets. When she was full she would turn from the food. You want to do this everynight for the first couple months when they are small. She may not take food everynight but don't stress she is probably just full from the night before. If you can get your hands on some night crawlers they are a much better staple diet then crickets. Rule of thumb is don't feed your frog anything bigger then space between its eyes, so if you do decide to go with nightcrawlers you will have to cut them into smaller pieces. Are you dusting the crickets with vitamins and calcium with d3? And i noticed from your first picture you seem to have some moss in the enclosure, if i were you i would take that out. If your frog ingests that it will cause impaction. Hope i could help and enjoy your new frog. Oh and eventually u can feed full size nightcrawlers you just have to cut them while they are babies.
