Poor Shirley. Jellybean is still adorable and I'm glad your frogs take nightcrawlers.
Cute.

lol they had " yeah, now we're talking" look! Awesome they eat them, keep feeding, I suggest you skip waxworms at all, these are better, especially now. Very happy for you. How long since the last prolapse? How poops look like now?
Save one animal and it doesn't change the world, but it surely changes the world for that one animal!
I'll need to use the waxworms once a week for injecting their meds into, but otherwise I'm sure glad sHEila and the others goes for earthworm!
Here are the notes I've kept since the prolapse. I haven't seen any "regular" poo, but I did find some excrement (don't know that I'd call it poo really??) the day after I first fed earthworms.
SHEILA 2nd PROLAPSE TIMELINE AND FEED SCHEDULE
Mon 29th- Ate a few small crickets
Tues Nov 28- 2ND PROLAPSE! (after a "normal" poo)
--NOTHING TO EAT FOR 6 DAYS--
Sun 23-- Had ONE waxworm with metro (dusted)
Mon 24th- Not fed
Tues 25th- 1" piece of night crawler (dusted w/ Vits)
Wed 26th- Not fed (had a bit of undigested earthworm poo and waxworm skin)
Thurs (Thanksgiving) 27th- 2 waxworms (dusted)
Fri 28th- Not fed
Sat 29th- Fed half of a small earthworm (dusted)
Sun 30th- No feed (full from earthworm!) Switch med day to tomorrow
Mon Dec 1- Will feed two medicated waxworms (dusted)
Since he fasted for 6 days I decided to dust his food each time I fed him after for a few days. Hope that was ok? I usually dust with Reptocal w/ Cal/D3 on Sunday and Vits on Weds otherwise.

Yep, all good! Good job! How is a head tilting, any better?
Monday is a last day of meds, right?
Save one animal and it doesn't change the world, but it surely changes the world for that one animal!
Actually Sunday 23rd was supposed to be the last day, but I contacted the vet and since 2 of these guys have doubled their weight, and the other two were close, he said to double the doses he gave me on everyone and continue to medicate for another 3 weeks and monitor poop, etc.
Shirley still has the head tilt. There doesn't seem to be a difference in that, like I first thought, just a difference in how she's dealing with it. Sometimes she gets a little excited or overeager when going after food, and seems to forget herself and can take a tumble, but for the most part she has much better control than when the problem first manifested itself. Given that, and the fact the med seemed to take no effect on the problem, I'm pretty sure it was caused from hitting her head that time when it was pulled to the side (the opposite side from which it's tilted now, oddly) when she was shedding.![]()
