Hi everyone! I wish I could report some good news, but Kibbits behavior has continued to be downhill.
I've looked everywhere in my area for an herb vet and there is NO ONE : ( I am hoping you guys can give me some suggestions. I've looked everywhere online for the type of symptoms he's been exhibiting and not finding any answers!
He continues to be very very inactive, and very lethargic. We have to bother him in order to have him open his eyes. When he does, I'm not seeing any sort of cloudiness. Yet, 99% of the time, the white covering is over them, even at night when normally he'd be jumping around the cage or pouncing on crickets. He is moving from place to place (to sleep) including climbing up to various limbs and trees, but continues to be very inactive at both day and night. We haven't seen him eat, but he's not losing weight and crickets are disappearing. I haven't noticed any discoloration, or color changes apart from the fact that it looks like there are more white/green spots on him than before (the normal spots that WTFs get).
Mainly, I'm just so concerned with how lethargic he seems to be, with his eyes closed all the time! It's been this way for at least two weeks now with no change!
Again, the normal cage conditions have remained the same. The cage was just cleaned this last weekend again, so fresh water, fresh everything. All crickets are dusted with calcium once a week (with the crickets being gutloaded all through captivity). The other frog (Igby) continues to be just fine.
I'm happy to take him to a vet as soon as I find one anywhere near here that will see frogs : (. After the response last time, I figured that he was just shedding and left him be. It's just the duration of the inactivity, and the continued lethargy that is scary to me. Please help!!!
