I read in The General Care and Maintenance of White's Tree Frogs and White-lipped tree frogs, by Philippe de Vosjoli (1990) that there was a Pseudo-Splendida (basically a mock Magnificent tree frog) strain being worked on, at least back then... anyone know what came about of that idea?? The book mentioned efforts to come up with a frog of White's breeding, I believe, which resembles Litoria splendida, which is not available outside the U.S. to my knowledge(?), hence the effort to make a "mock or faux" version.
