I read not to give the calcium/D3 and vitamin supplements at the same feeding? Why is this? Wouldn't it be ok if you were dusting different feeder insects with the diff powders? Say earthworm with calcium/D3 and waxworm with Vit powder in the same feeding?

CA/D3 has to be at right ratio to enhance CA absorption and good formulas ensure it's that way. If you mix in another product; it will alter the ratio in a negative way. Does not matter if you dust different prey with different products; it will mix up in stomach and reduce CA absorption levels.
Remember to take care of the enclosure and it will take care of your frog!
