A bunch of questions

Hello people of frogforum I have a few questions about the African Bullfrog and its enclosure.

1. What size tank should I use? I have had mine for over a year and at first I had it in a 20 galon long. Currently it is in a 40 gallon breeder.
2. If I paint the sides of the tank does the brand of paint matter?
3. How do I tell if it is a giant african bullfrog?
4. How long should I let it estivate for? My frog estivates at this time of the year and last year I woke it up around April.
5. Is there a certain pattern of growth for these frogs? I heard they grow really fast at a young age but mines over a year old and about 5 and a half inches.


When he is active I feed him 12 night crawlers and 3 dubia roaches every other day. The tank is around 85 degrees during the day, 80 at night and 60% humidity.
