    Talking Phoenix Flies

I've been reading about Phoenix Flies for about a day now because I seen them being used as food on another website (cant remember which one) and I would like yalls opinion on them before I consider ordering them. They will be for my Fire-Bellied Toads. Have anybody here used them or bred them?

I have used phoenix worms, with mixed results. Some frogs like them, some don't. I have also had some frogs vomit them after eating them.

Waxworms are high in fat. Mealworms chitin. You can try phoenix worms, they are high in calcium. So if the frog eats them, thats a good thing.

Petco has been selling these "calci-worms", which I believe are the same thing as phoenix worms.

Yea I seen them today when I went there. You have to buy them with the superworms, at least they came with them packed together. I got some mealworms though. I asked one of the people that work there about them and she didnt know anything about them but you might be right. Ill see if I can find anything about them online.
