She is going to have green tree frogs, not grays, so they wouldn't mind a little more warmth than 68. I don't think that those temps would hurt them either, but I have no personal experience with american green tree frogs. They do come from further south in the US though, so they'd probably prefer it to be a touch warmer. I'm not sure how effective a heat mat would be behind a cork background though. I use a CHE with a dimmer and a thermostat on my red eye tank, but that might be overkill for what you would need.

From what I saw it just says a small terrarium is fine for 2-4 individuals. I am only looking to get one tree frog. So would this terrarium be big enough? If not it won't hurt my feelings.

No, that won't work, sorry! I would put 2-3 in an 18x18x24.

I was thinking a single in a 12x12x18 I just happened across the smaller one and was curious. I really want just one.

I had a pet Green Tree Frog a long, long, long, long, time ago. He seemed pretty comfortable in a 20 gallon tank.

Just looking at some really, really old photographs right now. It was a highly aquatic environment, with the tank filled almost a third of the way with water. There were two pretty hefty climbing branches, and a good sized dieffenbachia plant in a pot in a ceramic holder. I knew nothing about keeping frogs at the time, and he shared the tank with a couple of newts, and also a couple of bullfrog tadpoles/baby bullfrogs for awhile. He still managed to survive for several years though, and was very tame. He used to sit quietly on my finger, and would sometimes start croaking when he was petted.

I think they're good frogs, and overall, they're pretty forgiving. I wouldn't keep one in too small of a setup, though.
