Well tonight sHEila jumped on Jelly Bean while I was cleaning their tank, and Jelly let out a squawk... sort of like a "Meh!" sound. Can males make this sound too or is it only attributed to females?? (I've heard Shirley do this more than once). He (or she) hasn't croaked at all, that I know of, and is too small for me to see if any thumb pads might be present. Would be interesting if the one I thought was a male is a female, while the others who I thought were girls are boys! With the exception of Shirley who I am 99% certain is a girl *crosses fingers* lol

Males can make the sound. Bonk skwawked at me and he can definitely call.
PS Jellybean is adorable. I have one of the same size, but I think I've caught it trying to puff out its throat.
Gotta love Jelly Bean! ^_^ <3
Good to know on that info! guess I'll wait a lil longer and see.![]()
