They will do just fine on their own May be less stressful for Freddy if he's feeling intimidated by Mr. Kermit.

It shouldn't be a problem. Frogs seem to tolerate other frogs but they usually don't seem to need company. (According to what I've heard lots of owners say.) In nature they're often solitary until it's time to mate.

I've kept PCFs and I can say I've seen both scenarios, frogs that prefer company and frogs that prefer to be solitary, both in captivity and in the wild... here are a few examples

PCFs number 7, 6 and 5 communing on the apartment drain pipe. These three amigos hung out all the time together, catching bugs drawn by the apartment light.
PCFs number 5 and number 7
PCFs number 7 and number 5 (sleeping)
PCFs number 4 and number 2 (house guests this summer in my trailing African violet tank)
PCFs number 1 and number 4
PCFs number 2 and number 4
PCFs number 4 and number 1

I am just worried about Mr. Kermit's size compared to Freddy's

If both are healthy and no ones small enough to be eaten they should be fine, especially if they have enough space and hidey places to get away from each other if they wish. My PCF friends liked to hang out in the trailing African violet or go down into the soil when shedding. There were four in a 15 gal long tank and they did great.

I have White's tree frogs who are diff sized to each other and get along well together too

Me too! They are also known sometimes as smiling tree frogs But you have to make them happy for you to be happy. Tall vivs don't take up as much space, size wise, as they are tall versus long. How much space do you have exactly for a viv?

Ok so yet another question...I noticed today that Freddy seems to not be able to catch his food. I feed flies to them that we catch in the house. Is there anyway to dust these or should I feed crickets as well?

I dont have wtf's yet. I have 2 pcf's. But I am thinking my next one might be a wtf I am addicted to frogs. Everyone thinks I have gone insane

I'd feed small gut loaded crickets dusted once a week with a vit supplement, and once a week (different days) with a calcium supplement. Our PCF friends did fine on those with never an issue. You can also feed flightless fruit flies and see if they will take those, and a small wax worm as a treat once in a while (they're like a frog candy bar so should not have them very often).

Heh, join the club. I'm developing a reputation as a crazy frog lady at the local Goodwill store, lol! I love to go there to find aquariums, artificial plants and dishes for froggles

Ah! You'll get addicted to shopping there if it's as good a store as ours Yeah if you have a bullying situation going on you might want to get two feeder bowls or take one out to feed him in a separate container.

Hey at least you are researching and wanting to do better for them. PCFs are pretty unfinicky (is that a word?? lol) All they want is stuff to climb on, a dish to soak in, places to hide, and a nice misting a couple times a day and they're good. For lighting you could just lay one of those under cabinet grow lights on the top that they sell at Walmart. You won't need to worry about supplemental heating for these guys. I havent been misting them since they spend most of the time in the water...and I dont really have hiding spots...I will work on it

Watch out for any hides made of cedar wood, or similar, though as the oils are toxic to frogs! Oh and the stringy kinds of moss, as frogs can ingest it accidentally and plug themselves up.
