We are currently constructing a 75 gallon whites tree frog enclosure. These will be our first frogs and we love the look of them. I have done plenty research but I always like to ask forums for opinions of people that are currently keeping the animals and their experiences as we'll. more information the better. The tank is a 75g aquarium with screen top LED lighting tons of fake plants a large log two large rocks that are foamed in to creat a shallow water feature on the right side of the tank. Gravel used on the dry side to build up some areas which will be covered with landscape cloth covered in plantation soil which will be covered with moss. Our house is kept on the colder side so there is a heat mat on the rear of the tank left side. This mat is a dessert wave may as I did not realize they made one for tropical species. Back of the tank is painted black and just glass. I am worried about the frogs burning themselves on the hot glass. So if I used the exo terra foam backgrounds and cut them to size do you guys think this would provide sufficient insulation to not harm the frogs. Also in a 75g tank how many frogs ( fully grown) could live out their life in that size tank. Sorry for the long first post and thank you in advance for your help.
