Also I should note we use well water, which is run through a water softener. This water has never given me problems with the frog I had years ago (a gray tree frog) but I didn't treat it with anything, and these frogs may be more fragile, so I suppose that it too is suspect. Our water has sulfur in it, but again, that was never an issue before. This water also raises several thousand toad-poles from egg to toads in our golfish pond, albeit outdoors, getting diluted with rainwater and being purified by ridiculous pond plants... In case that is a possible issue, I figured I'd mention it...
