He's totally not happy with me right now I did give him two wax worms, then took Jelly out to give her some crickets, she ate 2-3 but wasn't happy about being in the keeper so I let her back out. I put some crickets in with Honey and Shirley and the first thing sHEila did was crawl over there and stare through the glass and try to get to them. He seemed disgusted when I slid a lid between the tanks to block his view, lol!

Good thing I read this about the red wigglers! I assumed an earth worm was just an earth worm... I didn't wind up getting the ones at the feed store though. I took the container out of the fridge and looked in it and didn't see any worms at all, then I sniffed it and the thing reeked of ammonia! I asked a guy how long they had been there, he checked the comp and said "May"-- what, really??? And guess what, he put them right back in the fridge even though I said it should be thrown out.

sHEila isn't going to like his minimalist diet, but I'm going to do what's best for him. I have some smaller crickets now (getting them at Petsmart now, where the sizes are right and the bins always clean) and will try to limit him to a few a night instead of letting him have a big feed.

What about Dubai roaches by the way? Are these very digestible? They don't look like they would be... oh and where can you by good quality earth worms/night crawlers for these guys online?
