Greetings all, my name is Scott, I'm from Pennsylvania. I went out and after much debate purchased two White's tree frogs at Petco tonight, their temporary home is a 35 gallon-ish clear plastic bin with some plants (hedra helix, pothos, and some kind of native oak fern) and native moss and tree bark, so far I think they approve. I guess my only questions are do I need a heater for them immediately, or will they be fine a month or two without one until I build a real vivarium, for them? I have an excess of B lateralis roaches which they are already eating, despite only being in the bin for about 15 minutes (good lord)... I don't have a calcium supplement yet, is there any kind of supplement I can add to their water (like natural limestone perhaps) so I don't have to dust roaches? Has anyone tried this? Thanks in advance.
Scott Bogard.
