Rana Erythraea cant catch food?

hello guys i have 4 r.erythraea that metamorphed placed them in cocopeat container and made it kinda wet one can eat the food in one lunge but my other 2 are having hard time catching the food and one died i have no idea why. can anyone pls help!! i feed them Blatta Lateralis nymphs.(should i offer pinhead crickets instead?) pls help me! i didnt put a hide because the prey keeps going inside it and my frogs cant find it.
