PVC is the same as vinyl. They're all safe materials.

Makes sense! I worked in a fabric store that sells various weights of clear vinyl (including an adorable frog-printed one). I notice the vinyl has a strong smell at first, but I assume this doesn't hurt a frog if you let it air a few days to get rid of the smell before using it in frog habitat?
