I recently bought 2 fat fire belly toads from petco. I was planning on buying some from backwater reptiles but when I saw them at the store I could not resist. I saw that they were chunky but when I got them home I noticed one was almost as fat as it was long and the other is as fat as its length! the are both roughly 1" long and I am curious how much and often I should be feeding them to trim them up? And 1 of them does not seem interested in food at all while the other will practically eat out of my hand. I have only had them 3 days. The tank they are in is 10 gal, 72 degrees F with about 2 inches of water and 40% land. Should I be having them work out at all by having them swim in a separate tank for a little bit a day? (monitored of course) otherwise they seem to be active and exploring the tank. Thanks guys.
