I had the same thing when we trimmed or grape vines. I would not use it anywhere that it gets wet since the mold that grows is deadly to frogs! So if you're not using it got a desert enclosure I would not use it! I hope this helps!

Indeed, Grapevines will quickly develop a grey mold that is extremely bad. Do not use it in an amphibian vivarium.
