Red-Eyed Tree Frog Coloration
Years ago I owned Red-eyes and they were a lime green color. I've seen others that had a darker green coloring. What is the difference between these two shades of green. Does it relate to the location where the frog is from? I know Red-eyes are from Costa Rica but they are also found elsewhere, like Nicaragua.

Not sure if this is what you are referring to, but at night Red Eye Tree Frogs turn a dark green to better blend in with the dark surroundings.
