    You can get a decent light and put it outside of the vivarium. The risk to the frog if you put a light inside the viv is not worth whatever license you might get, in my opinion. If the licensers require UV, it will not hurt the frogs, so you could use it, but it is not necessary for their health.

    If you need heat or at least show them yiu have a heat source get a reptile heating mat or ceramic heating bulb or heating cable and an outlet thermostat or some other kinda thermostat. Outlet thermostats plug right into the wall, you sent it for a temp and it turn some thing on/off... They see that and they should be happy. Can probably find them on your version of Amazon or ebay.

    I agree a light should almost never be in the tank, and i generally wouldnt even put a heat source in the tank with the possible exception of a hot rock out.reptile heating cable, maybe a mat if it was designed to go in a tank. I prefer to stick stuff to the sides, under the tank or above it.
