Giant Orange isopod Q

do the giant orange Isopods climb up the walls of the vivarium? or do they stay at the ground level? I am considering getting them, bc i cannot keep springtails thriving in my viv without getting eaten up by my 3 hungry Azureus. But if they are going to crawl up the walls of the viv, and possibly make an escape, i don't think i want to try them.

They will not climb the glass, but I am not 100% about the silicone in the corners. I can test it in a little bit and tell you how it goes.

They stay in the substrate. Just keep in mind that giant oranges take much longer to reach maturity, so they don't breed as fast as something like dwarf purples. They take about 8-10 months before they hit maturity.
