Very interesting. I'll reserve opinion for now, but I'm curious to see what others think about it. *ambivalence*

Good read and I agree with many of the points. I think it is possible to mix species IF the cage is large enough, they have very similar requirements, and they don't normally compete for food. Feeding the red eyed tree frog by hand so it wouldn't stress out the dart frogs is a good idea and the fact the the red eyed tree frog is arboreal and the dart frogs are more terrestrial seems like it would work the best. The only time I would ever mix species though is if I have had many years of experience keeping them by themselves and if the cage that they were in was at minimum 300+ gallons. Just my opinion though

Very well written article. Thanks for sharing. I'm one of those that believes it can be done, but should not be done by a beginner. Species need to be very carefully decided upon and their living arrangements need to be even more thought out. Too many people neglect to do both of those, and while they are fine for some time, they normally end up disastrous. Sad.

Hey folks, it'd be nice if you would also share your experiences and thoughts under the "comments" section of my blog, for other people to read who may not be part of the forum. Does anyone have any mixed pictures? Horror stories from mixing?
