So I have a water source outside and the green tree frogs that live on my porch left babies. I brought five inside. One is now a frog as of today. Still has his tail.
So do I let him lose now in the place I got him from. Wait till the tail is gone? And when? Morning noon evening. It is till warm in the day but getting down to the 50 degrees at night.
thank you for any help?
Maybe I should let them all loose now that I got to watch one grow all the way to a frog.
Since no one knows. When it warms up today Ill let the little froglet go. His tail is almost all gone.
I would let them go during the day as soon as they morph out like you have already planned The sooner they get out and hunting on their own, the better.
2.0.3 Hyla versicolor "Eastern Gray Tree Frogs"
2.2.0 Agalychnis callidryas "Red Eyed Tree Frogs"
0.0.3 Dendrobates auratus "Turquoise and Bronze"
0.0.1 Anaxyrus fowleri "Fowler's Toad"
Thats the plan but I have also decided to keep two of the five. lol They are to darn cute.
This I believe is one of the parents to my little frogs. Is this a gray or a green? They other one that lives in that area is a little bigger and always looks like it is about to shed. So I am going with gray...
One is with a flash and the other is without.
That is the American Green Tree Frog. They make wonderful little friends.
