 Species Help
 Species Help
I am looking to convert a 75 gallon fish tank to a terrarium. I would like to allow my daughter to see tadpoles change into frogs and learn about the care of the adults.
What are the smallest species readily available as tadpoles which are not arboreal and preferably only semi aquatic?

 Re: Species Help
A lot of the time bullfrog tadpoles can be found in feeder goldfish shipments, but thats about it. Occasionally some breeders offer up tadpoles, but these are usually dart frogs or something else exotic.

 Re: Species Help
most petstores start to sell tadpoles when the water gets warmer, these are usually bull frogs though, not really suitable for any tank set up. collecting a few yourself from a pond or asking your local petstore to order you some might work also.

 Re: Species Help
Granted, what I am looking for are species names. Finding them is step 2.

 Re: Species Help
I appreciate the attempt at help, but maybe I should rephrase. Small. Readily available. Something like:
Pseudacris maculata
Pseudacris triseriata
Pseudacris crucifer
Acris crepitans
Hyla regilla
