Hi I've had a tank of Morio worms witch I bought some time ago, there quite big and I was thinking whether it would be a good idea to feed them to my toads. My toads eat mealworms and crickets, & sometimes I get insects from the garden like woodlice, earthworms and beetles and they love moths as well.
The Morio worms look like they could be too big to feed my toads and the toads don't have teeth to chew there food. I've heard some horror stories about feeding toads and frogs Morio worms as they could eat there way out of the toad, I don't know how true this is but thought I'd ask to see if its safe.
I originally bought these Morio worms as they looked interesting and I have kept the Morio worms for nearly a year now while watching a few transform into beetles that I have now got in another tank for breeding.
I was just wondering can I feed Morio worms to my toads?
Thanks.
