Hello everyone! It's been far too long since I've last posted and for that I apologize. Nevertheless I come to you guys today with great anxiety. Barack, my favorite pacman whom I've happily watched grow over the past few years is dying. At first I thought he was just stressed. He stopped eating for about two weeks, so I cleaned out his 10 gallon tank and replaced it with fresh coconut husk. After two days passed, I tried to feed him again and he was acting quite neurotic. I placed him in his water dish and then proceeded in force feeding him three night crawlers which he happily took. (He pretty much opened his mouth and I put them in. He then savagely ate them haha).
Two days passed and sadly I found the worms regurgitated in the water dish with the sickening smell of death.
I replaced the water dish and fed him two more nightcrawler. I then took out the water dish.
His setup-
10 gallon tank
70-84 degrees
Three inches of coconut husk
He usually eats 2-3 times a week alternating between crickets and worms with the occasional pinky.
He is usually my best feeder.
His setup has fake plastic vines in the corner.
I also gave him a honey bath when I cleaned out his tank. He's lost considerable weight... I'm taking him to a vet soon. I shall post pictures later today.
