Hi,
it's abouth time here to replace some of our enclosures substrate, so we are planning to make a big amount of our own ABG mix.
Now, we can find all the ingredients for making it, exept one, the tree fern fibre.
It has proven to be impossible to find here, we have searched everywhere.
Now i was wondering, would it be okay to replace the tree fern fibre with coco fibres?
It has almost the same structure, is also very durable, and is alot easier to find.
What do you guys think?
You can use fir bark instead of tree fern fiber. It breaks down about the same and is easier to come by.
