Hello fellow frog forum members! My name is Ellie, or ringo.
I joined a few days ago after I accidentally came into possession of a bullfrog tadpole that came in the live fish shipment at the store I work at. I'm completely new to amphibians and I know bullfrogs aren't generally a "beginner" frog, but I'm prepared to learn lots and do my best!
I work at a local fish store and love freshwater aquariums! My pride and joy are my fantail goldfish, but I also have African cichlids, tiger barbs and a betta. In addition my boyfriend and I have four cats and a chinchilla.
My other interests are mainly an assortment of things like Pokemon, drawing and reading.
I hope we can all be friends! <3
Hello and welcome to FF Ellie! Bullfrogs need big aquariums; a full grown male can do in a 55G; but a female will need a larger tank. You can use this guide for it's care; other than tank size they have similar requirements: Frog Forum - Leopard Frog Care - Rana pipiens (Schreber, 1782) and R. sphenocephala (1886).
Remember to take care of the enclosure and it will take care of your frog!
