I have a large number of tads now - Spring Peepers, Northern Leopard Frogs, perhaps one Wood Frog, and I think one may be a Gray Treefrog. From what I have heard, Spirulina is the one to be used. I had a bunch sitting around - and the guys seemed to love it.![]()
If you're talking about just spirulina powder, it's a good food but I would not feed it exclusively. I like to give non-dart frog tadpoles a good fish food flake along with other things like spirulina.

fish powder because it contained animal material as well? (microinvertebrates probably are fed on as well on the leaves.) What kind of fish powder do you recommend?
What do you think of the Guinea Pig mix itself?
I just purchase what ever is cheapest or on special offer at the pet shop - there's not much difference between fish foods - they are mostly just fish meal and things like wheat and corn meal.
What's in it? If you're talking about a general guinea pig food, those tend to foul the water very quickly.
