Red eyed tree frog color
I was just wondering if the color of there skin means anything. (Dark green vs light green)

They turn Dark green typically at night and Light green during the day to blend in better.

Agree with Paul. My red eyes are dark green, almost a dark bluish color, at night and during the day they're a bright neon green depending where in the tank they're hanging out.

Yep, they put on their dark hunting camouflage at night so it's harder to see them.
