The days are getting short, and our toads know it.* To the more experienced toad keepers out there, what behavioral changes do your toads display in fall? Increased burrowing is pretty apparent, but are there any more subtle changes? Please feel free to post, even if someone else already said exactly what you were going to. I'm hoping there will be some good replies that help separate normal fall behavior from unrelated, probably more important changes.

*Unless you're an Aussie or something.

My toad actually becomes more active in the fall. She changes to orange colors during late october, making her look like a pumpkin. Fall is my favorite season for observing my toad.

Last year my two Bufos suddenly became very quiet come October,
tried to bury themselves and lost a little appetite. This year I haven't
    noticed anything

My toad hasn't burrowed since august. She always does this at the end of summer.
