is it a special alcohol that you use or just normal alcohol

Ethyl alcohol (ethanol) is the most commonly used fluid used for preservation of small vertebrates; a 70% solution (prepared by mixing 7 parts of commercially available ethanol - which is almost 100% - and 3 parts of water) is what they use at Museums
