I was just reading through the West Australian license agreement online and it seems that if a frog dies you must preserve the body in alcohol or freeze it until someone tells you that you can dispose of it.
This seems so sad.
Why can't we just bury them when they die?

I'm not sure what the rules are in other countries but WA seems very strict on all their policies.

I am going out today to look around for the best frog shop.
We are thinking of going to a place called Pet Magic in Cannington but we are going to have a look around first.

more than likely they may want to check the cause of death but I don`t know how they would know it was dead unless you reported it.

I often preserve dead animals in alchohol. Its no biggie.

Ethyl alcohol (ethanol) is the most commonly used fluid used for preservation of small vertebrates; a 70% solution (prepared by mixing 7 parts of commercially available ethanol - which is almost 100% - and 3 parts of water) is what they use at Museums
