    Default Water Fun

So I have a little american toad about the size of a fingernail. I've spent the last week wondering how his 5 inch circular pond with about a quarter inch of water in the bottom could possibly be empty each morning......His substrate has been getting wetter and wetter every morning, and I haven't watered it. I checked to make sure the pond wasn't leaking water, and there was no way it could all evaporate....

I caught my toad in the act this morning - sitting right in the middle of his pond splashing away!!! He was kicking the water in all directions and splashing it over his head! Its the funniest thing! I have never seen a toad act like this before. At least I know hes having fun!

You need to film that (even with a phone) and share here please !
Remember to take care of the enclosure and it will take care of your frog !

I know what you mean. My toad does something similar to that. Except it isn't cute anymore, it's just really annoying. I have a video of her doing it on some thread in the toad section.
"Look on the wall behind you. Look at that little girl's face. I know you've seen it. But you know what she's never going to be able to see? She's never going to be able to see the simple wonder of a leaf in her hand. Because there's not going to be any trees. Now you think about that."
