Found this little guy in quebec canada where im from. From googling i think its a fowler's toad. I know nothing about them and Ive kinda grown accustomed to it. Are they hard to care for? I can feed crickets here, but im hoping it'll eat worms and what not...
Anyways... any info on care and stuff like that would be really appreciated... im guessing room temperature will be fine since he's from here anyways...
but i need to know tank size/diet/how often you feed, and all that grat stuff.
thanks!
sorry guys - just found the caresheet!
comments are still appreciated!
Hi Jabba:
I believe it is likely to be an American Toad. A Fowlers habitat range generally does not extend that far north. New England states/New York is generally as far North as they go.
If you look closely at the spots on the back a Fowler will have 3 or more warts in the brown spot whereas an American will only have one or two.
They do look alot alike however.
Hope this helps
Chris
