Keeping Different Species Together

Hello everyone,

I know that you aren't supposed to keep different frog species together, but I was wondering if you could keep Pseudacris hypochondriaca hypochondriaca with Pseudacris regilla? They are very similar and I was wondering if there would be any problems besides cross breeding?

I think that this mix is more likely to not have any problems than normal, due to the fact that these frogs were once thought to be nearly the same, but I would due some extensive research and get a rather large enclosure anyway

I was wondering about that... The enclosure that im hoping to use is a 120 gallon aquarium. I only have a Pseudacris regilla right now but I was asking just incase I messed up my identification. Thanks

I doubt it would be a big deal looking into the frogs themselves. I have kept similar frogs together before that weren't the same species. For instance, I have two colonies of spea multiplicata and spea bombifrons and they've done well for quite some time. You might end up with some adorable hybrids out of the set up!

I am not 100% sure if I will end up getting different species, I just wanted to be sure though I sure hope I get a cool hybrid out of it though, I really would like to get a blue one though
