    Exclamation Lighting question for AGTFs

Hi, I had a question about American green tree frog lighting. I want to get a red light bulb and don't know what wattage will be best. I want it from zoomed and I was wondering if a 40 or 60 watt bulb would be good for a 18x18x24 vivarium?

    Default Lighting question for AGTFs

I would go with the 40 watt. I think 60 watts would be a little too hot.

Infrared bulb? I think some people have experienced issues with the frogs actually being able to see or at least be affected by the red light. Myself uses the dark moonlight bulbs. They emit low light, and not too much heat.

Ok, what wattage should I use for a moonlight bulb and if you're suggesting a light bulb, please say the wattage!

I use the Exo terra night glo. It's a 50 watt bulb

I have the same, but I think it may be 40 watt, not sure. Honestly, I can't really see much at all, and hope to get an LED day/night light soon. This way I don't have to worry about the night bulb heating up the tank too much at night.
